The concept of “taking photos” was never something that I’d think of like a typical hobby, or a pastime activity. To me personally, this goes deeper than that; it’s an escape, a necessity, a creed. One of the things my family always do during gatherings is that they will always review old photos of their past life events. These would always invoke special feelings, as we lived through those times, through those photos.

And that’s what made me fell in love with photography. For every shoot that I’m given the honour to be part of, I’d strive to capture moments that serves as a “visual memoir” of those present in that frame. I hope to document stories that many years down the road, these stories would exactly be the ones that would be relived and retold, time after time.

Documenting stories, we live for.

Just two beautiful individual who loves each other, exudes contentment or jubilation, whether it be tears of joy, or the euphoric display of elation, on the most important day of their lives.

I’ve always loved seeing how different couples had their own bond, and the supportive families surrounding them on their most momentous day. The hustle and bustle that comes before that and seeing everything just unravel into these beautiful moments.

I’ve always paid attention to the things I found intriguing and memorable, and those are quite always it.

The only thing that’s changed since then is, viewing everything through my couple’s eyes. Seeing what they see, and trying to capture what they’d love and treasure. I have my own moments I love, but so do my couples and that’s what matters at the end of the day — their happiness & their cherished loved ones.

Documenting moments in life visually has always been part of me growing up. Hence, it was only natural for me to gravitate towards wedding photography; to document moments and preserve stories was an endeavour that has always been deeply rooted in me by nature, since my early days.

My relationship with Colossal began when I hired them to document my very own wedding. I knew they were a reputable brand backed by multi-talented creatives. Not long after, I jumped at the opportunity to join them as an Editor; I discovered the many perspectives of a wedding and thought, this was such a beautiful process I’d want to be a part of.

Alas, here I am, an inspired Colossal Weddings photographer, keen to preserve stories on your special day, just like how my own stories were preserved, forevermore.
