I love creating in any way possible. I love living and life. I adore people and their quirks. I enjoy picking out nuances. I find beauty in the ordinary. I value freedom.
And above all else, I looooooove cats.
One time, amidst a busy morning on her wedding day, a bride said to me: Mira, your voice and the way you direct - itβs very calming.
It beats the best photograph I have ever shot. It gave meaning to what I do.
The ones who are free-spirited, genuine to themselves, and whose love extends beyond themselves.
After six years of photographing weddings of multiple types and sizes, I can tell you that the best photographs are made from moments that are unscripted. It made me a photographer who is unintrusive (is this a word?) and prefers to document a wedding day as organically as it unfolds. The quiet, contemplative mood as you get ready in the morning of your wedding day.
An assuring touch of a motherβs hand. A warm embrace. The way your eyes light up or how your lips crack a smile when he demonstrates a quirk that only you find adorable. I donβt mind grandeur but thereβs beauty and magic in these ordinary moments to me. Iβm equally drawn to the light and the dark, the pretty and nitty gritty - my style of photography is one that tells the whole story.
βWhen you look at it, it doesnβt necessarily make sense but it evokes a feeling in you.β

βLove your work, we even started following their socials outside of Colossal as they are very interesting characters!β
The whole experience was tailor-made for us, from choice of photographer to overall vibe, it suited almost exactly what we wanted. We were impressed that they managed to capture the feels we wanted even when we were quite vague (because it was hard for us to describe).
